What This Policy Covers
This privacy policy explains how NextSwipe handles your information. NextSwipe is a free auto-scroll utility with a built-in WebView browser. It has no user accounts, no backend servers, and no data collection. Your scroll profiles, session history, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
This policy applies to NextSwipe on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Data We Collect
NextSwipe collects zero data. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting sent externally. The app stores your settings and session history locally on your device.
Web Content and Third-Party Sites
NextSwipe includes a built-in WebView browser that loads web pages you navigate to. When you enter a URL, the system WebView fetches that page using standard HTTPS.
Important: Websites you visit through NextSwipe's browser have their own privacy policies and may set cookies, use analytics, or collect data independently. NextSwipe does not control, intercept, modify, or log any web traffic. The system WebView (WKWebView on iOS, Chrome WebView on Android) manages cookies and site data according to your device's default settings.
NextSwipe validates URLs before loading to block potentially harmful schemes (javascript:, file:, data:, blob:). Beyond this safety check, the app does not interact with page content.
Data Stored on Your Device
NextSwipe stores the following data locally. This data never leaves your device:
- Custom scroll profiles — name, speed, direction preferences
- Active profile selection and last-used speed/direction
- Scroll session history — up to 100 recent sessions with timestamps and durations
- Auto-stop timeout preference
- App preferences — theme, accent color, haptics, language
- Font color preference
- Font size preference
- High contrast mode setting
- Reduce animations setting
- Onboarding completion status
You have full control over this data. Use "Clear History" or "Reset All" in Settings, or uninstall the app to remove everything.

Device Permissions
| Permission | Purpose | Data handling |
|---|---|---|
| Internet | Required to load web pages in the built-in browser | WebView only |
| Photo Library (save) | Save generated share cards to your photo library for sharing to social media | Local only |
Internet access is used solely by the system WebView to load pages you navigate to. NextSwipe itself does not make any network requests to its own servers or third-party services. Photo library access is write-only; NextSwipe cannot read or browse your existing photos.
Sharing Features
NextSwipe includes optional sharing features that you control:
- Share cards: Generate visual session stats cards that can be shared via the native OS share sheet, or directly to Facebook and Instagram. The card image is saved to your photo library before opening the target app.
- Social sharing: NextSwipe can open Facebook or Instagram on your device so you can post your share card. No data is sent to Facebook, Instagram, or any server by NextSwipe itself — the app simply saves an image locally and opens the other app. If Facebook or Instagram is not installed, you are offered a link to the App Store or Google Play.
All sharing actions are initiated by you. No data is automatically transmitted. No accounts, tokens, or social media SDKs are integrated.
Third-Party Services
NextSwipe does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data-processing services. The only external interaction is the system WebView loading web pages you choose to visit, which is handled by the operating system's built-in web engine.
Children's Privacy
NextSwipe does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app contains no social features, no in-app purchases, and no objectionable content. As NextSwipe includes a web browser, parental controls on the device may be relevant for younger users.
Data Retention and Deletion
All app data exists exclusively on your device:
- Use "Clear History" in Settings to remove session history
- Use "Reset All" in Settings to erase all data and restore defaults
- Uninstall NextSwipe to permanently remove everything
- Clear app data from your device's system settings
WebView cookies and site data can be cleared through your device's system browser settings. No data is stored on any server.
Security
Your app data is protected by your device's built-in security. The WebView enforces HTTPS for secure page loading. NextSwipe blocks unsafe URL schemes to prevent potentially harmful content from loading.
Changes to This Policy
Updates will be published at this URL with a revised date. Since NextSwipe collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
