Frequently asked

Common Questions

How do I use auto-scroll?
Enter any URL, then use the scroll speed controls to automatically scroll through the page at your preferred pace. Adjust speed at any time.
Does NextSwipe save my browsing history?
No. NextSwipe does not store your browsing history or visited URLs. Only a one-time browser hint status is saved locally on your device.
Can I change the scroll speed?
Yes — NextSwipe provides adjustable speed controls so you can set the auto-scroll rate that works best for your reading style.
Does it work with any website?
NextSwipe works with most public web pages. Some sites with complex JavaScript or login requirements may not render perfectly in the WebView.
Is my browsing private?
NextSwipe collects zero data. However, the websites you visit have their own privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
How do I clear my data?
Uninstall NextSwipe or clear app data from your device settings. All locally stored preferences will be removed permanently.
What are Share Cards?
Share Cards let you generate a shareable PNG image of your session stats — including total sessions, hours scrolled, and average session length. Tap the share icon on the stats screen to create one, then share via the native share sheet or directly to Facebook or Instagram.
What is the Weekly Digest?
The Weekly Digest sends you a weekly summary of your scrolling activity via push notification. It includes session count, total time, and trends compared to the previous week.
What is Year in Review?
Year in Review is an annual stats screen that highlights your scrolling milestones, total sessions, and reading habits over the past year.
What is the AMOLED Black theme?
The AMOLED Black theme uses a true #000000 background, perfect for OLED/AMOLED displays. It saves battery and reduces eye strain in dark environments. Find it under Settings → Theme Preset.
What are confetti celebrations?
NextSwipe shows a confetti animation when you hit session milestones — 10, 25, 50, 100 sessions, and beyond. It's a small reward for consistent reading.
Can I back up and restore my settings?
Yes — go to Settings → Backup to export all your settings, speed profiles, and session history as a file. You can import it on another device or after reinstalling. Imports use atomic writes to prevent data corruption.
