How do I change my tracker?
Tap the settings icon on the home screen. From there you can change your tracker name, reset your progress, or switch to a different template.
How do I set up daily reminders?
Go to Settings and enable the daily reminder toggle. Choose your preferred time. TallyDot will send a local notification at that time each day — no internet required.
Is my data private?
Completely. All data is stored locally on your device. TallyDot has no server, no accounts, no cloud sync, and no analytics. Your data never leaves your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What is Streak Freeze?
Streak Freeze protects your tracker streak if you miss a single day. You can hold up to 3 freezes at a time and earn 1 new freeze for every 7-day streak you complete. Freezes are applied automatically — no action needed.
What is Year in Review?
Year in Review is an annual stats screen that shows your tracking highlights for the year — days tracked, longest streaks, and more. Access it from Settings → Year in Review.
What is the weekly summary?
Every Monday, TallyDot generates a Weekly Digest — a summary card and optional notification showing how many days you tracked, your active trackers, and any notes from the past week.
How many themes are available?
TallyDot offers 7 theme presets, including a true AMOLED black theme (#000000) for OLED displays. Themes also include light and dark options that follow your system setting.
Does the app back up my settings?
Yes. When you export your data, TallyDot includes all of your settings in the backup file. Importing a backup restores both your tracker data and your preferences.
How do I export/import data?
Go to Settings and use the Export feature to save a backup file. To restore, use Import and select your backup. TallyDot uses atomic writes to ensure your data is never corrupted during import.
How do I share my progress?
Tap the share button on the home screen. TallyDot generates a beautiful share card that you can save to your photo library, send via your device's share sheet, or share directly to Facebook or Instagram.
What are milestones and badges?
As you track consistently, TallyDot rewards you with milestone badges for streaks and consistency. When you hit a milestone, a confetti celebration appears on screen. Badges are stored locally and displayed in your tracker stats.
What are adaptive reminders?
TallyDot can adjust your reminder time based on your patterns. If you consistently dismiss reminders, the app may gently shift the time to find a better moment. This runs entirely on your device — no data is shared.
Does TallyDot work offline?
Yes. TallyDot works entirely offline and does not require an internet connection for any feature.
How do I delete all my data?
Reset your tracker from the home screen edit sheet, or uninstall the app to remove all local data permanently.
