Common Questions
How do I set up a location-based reminder?
When creating or editing a task, tap the location option and choose a place on the map. DoneAgain will remind you when you're near that location. Location is used only in the foreground and is never transmitted.
Can I sync tasks with my calendar?
Yes — enable calendar sync in your task settings. DoneAgain can write recurring tasks to your device calendar so they appear alongside your other events. This happens locally on your device.
How do proof photos work?
When you complete a task, you can attach a photo as proof. Take a new photo or choose from your library. Photos are stored locally in the app and never uploaded anywhere.
Does DoneAgain work offline?
Completely. DoneAgain works entirely offline with no internet connection required. All tasks, schedules, and photos are stored locally on your device.
How do I delete my data?
Reset data from app settings, delete individual tasks within the app, or uninstall DoneAgain to remove everything permanently. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Why does DoneAgain need so many permissions?
Each permission powers a specific feature: location for place-based reminders, calendar for schedule sync, camera/photos for proof attachments, and notifications for alerts. All are optional and all data stays on your device.
What are Share Cards?
Share Cards let you generate a shareable PNG image showcasing your task stats — including total completions, on-time rate, and current streak. Tap the share icon on any task to create and share your card via the native share sheet, or directly to Facebook or Instagram.
What is Streak Freeze?
DoneAgain tracks your daily usage streak. If you miss a day, a Streak Freeze automatically protects your streak from resetting. You can hold up to 3 freezes at a time, earned by staying consistent.
What is Year in Review?
Year in Review is an annual stats screen that shows your total completions, most completed task, on-time rate, and best month. It's a great way to look back on your productivity over the past year.
What is the weekly summary?
Every Monday, DoneAgain delivers a Weekly Digest — a summary card and notification showing how many tasks you completed, how many were overdue, and your on-time rate for the previous week.
How many themes are available?
DoneAgain offers 7 theme presets, including Light, Dark, and a true AMOLED Black theme (#000000) for OLED screens. The app also supports automatic system theme matching.
