Three new web apps are now live
Three new POLPROG web apps are now live. They take three very different subjects - the sweep of Polish history, the story of Polish jazz, and the journey of food through the body - and turn each one into something you can explore rather than just read. All three are built in-house, bilingual in Polish and English, privacy-first, with no accounts and no third-party tracking.
These are not three takes on one idea. They are distinct projects that share a philosophy: open or cited sources, honest data, and an interface that invites exploration instead of a wall of text. Each app is self-contained, free to use, and focused on a single, well-defined purpose.
ChronoPoland

ChronoPoland is an interactive map of Polish history. It pins one hundred outstanding figures, from medieval rulers to modern Nobel laureates, on a map of Poland at the place they were born, so a thousand years of history becomes something you can browse rather than memorise.
Records filter by era and by field, every entry links to its own sources and carries a confidence rating, and the map is built to overlay Poland's changing historical borders so each figure can be seen in the territory of their own time. The dataset draws on open knowledge: Wikidata, Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons.
PolJazz

PolJazz is a living guide to Polish jazz, from the underground performances of the early 1950s to the present day. It brings together artist profiles, an album catalogue, the clubs and regional scenes, a decades-long timeline and a map of musical influence.
It traces canonical figures such as Krzysztof Komeda, Tomasz Stanko, Zbigniew Namyslowski and Michal Urbaniak, and the scenes of Warsaw, Krakow and the Tricity yass movement, connecting artists, records and events through an interactive timeline and an influence line. It is a cultural archive, not a commercial platform.
FoodTraceLab

FoodTraceLab turns any food, drink or daily habit into a cinematic journey through a metaphorical body-world. Instead of a dashboard of numbers, you watch a bite travel from taste and digestion to energy, sugar and the long-term trace it leaves behind.
Five experiences let you follow a single bite, compare two choices side by side, project a daily habit two years forward, read a food's inner weather and generate a shareable impact fingerprint. Every claim references a source and every estimate stays honest. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose.
What all three share
- No accounts required. Open the URL and start exploring. No email, no sign-up, no login.
- No third-party tracking. No marketing pixels and no analytics beyond the privacy-respecting basics POLPROG already uses across the site.
- Bilingual by default. Every project ships with a full Polish and English interface from day one.
- Built and maintained in-house. All three are part of the same POLPROG codebase, with the same release process, the same accessibility baseline and the same WCAG-aware components.
Three apps, three very different worlds, one release. All live today, all free to use.
