No customer name, address, tax number or IBAN reaches a POLPROG server, and there is nothing to sign up for. The only things this page fetches are the two font files it lays the document out with, and they come from polprog.pl.
FAQ
Is my invoice uploaded anywhere?
No. The editor, the arithmetic, the layout and the PDF writer all run in this tab. The invoice is kept in IndexedDB, which is storage belonging to this browser on this device, and it is deleted when you delete the invoice or clear the site's data. Export the JSON if you want a copy you control.
Are the totals reliable?
The arithmetic is done in exact decimals rather than floating point, so 0.1 plus 0.2 is 0.3 and not 0.30000000000000004. Each line is rounded to the currency's smallest unit, tax is summed once per rate rather than line by line, and an invoice-level discount is spread across the rates in proportion. That is what makes the printed column add up to the printed total.
Is this invoice legally valid where I live?
That is not something any generator can promise. What an invoice must contain differs by country and by whether you are registered for VAT, and it changes. The checks panel verifies what can be verified here - the arithmetic, the dates, the structure of an IBAN, the format of a VAT number - and says plainly that it is not checking your local requirements. Check them, or ask your accountant.
Does it validate VAT numbers?
It checks the format only, against the pattern each country uses, and it says so on screen. No register is queried, so a number that matches is not proof that it is registered or that it belongs to your customer. For that, use your tax authority's own lookup.
What is the payment QR code?
An EPC069-12 code, the European standard that banking apps read to pre-fill a SEPA credit transfer. It carries the account, the name and the amount and nothing else. It is offered only for invoices in euro with a valid IBAN, because the standard covers nothing else - outside that, no code is printed and the tool says why, rather than printing a square that scans to nothing.
Can I invoice in a language I do not browse in?
Yes. The document language is a separate setting from the interface language, so you can work in your own language and send an invoice in the customer's. It changes the printed headings, the date format and the way amounts are formatted. Only languages whose printed wording is complete are offered.
