Image Converter & Optimizer BETA
Convert, compress and resize images directly in your browser. Optimize PNG, JPG and WebP files for faster websites, smaller apps and better performance.
Nothing is uploaded
Your files stay in the browser
Images are decoded and re-encoded with the browser's own canvas, in this tab. No file, thumbnail or byte count is sent to our servers, which is also why the charts appear only after a batch runs: there is no result to draw until your browser has produced one. Closing the tab discards everything.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything runs in this tab using the browser's canvas. Nothing is transmitted, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
Why does one file say "already optimal"?
Re-encoding it in the same format produced a file that was not smaller. That usually means it was already compressed well. Converting it to WebP is often the change that helps.
Will compressing lose quality?
For JPEG and WebP, yes, by design: the quality setting decides how much. PNG is lossless, so the saving there comes from re-encoding rather than from discarding detail.
Is metadata such as EXIF kept?
Orientation data is preserved so photographs are not rotated. Everything else the canvas does not carry over is dropped, which usually shrinks the file further.
