ElectronTrail - A 3D Journey Through a CRT Television
Follow the electron signal from the wall plug to the picture on the screen, in 3D.
Web Application
About
ElectronTrail is an interactive, scientifically grounded 3D journey through an analog CRT television that runs entirely in the browser. Follow the electron signal stage by stage, from the wall plug to the finished picture on the screen.
You travel along the signal path in 3D, stopping at each stage to see what happens and why. ElectronTrail covers the real analog broadcast standards PAL, NTSC and SECAM and explains how they differ, so the abstract idea of a video signal becomes something you can watch take shape.
The app is fully bilingual (English and Polish), runs in any modern browser, needs no account and uses no trackers.
