About
An app store gives you a few screenshots and a paragraph of description. That is not enough to decide whether a tool that handles money deserves your trust. CostBoard.app is where you can check the rest: what working in the app actually looks like, what the quoting module costs and why we claim the data never leaves the phone.
The questions it answers
- What does this app actually do. Both modes of work shown separately, with a preview of the interface: expense tracking for running a home, and quotes for contractors.
- What does it cost. Pricing without asterisks: everything is free until the end of 2026, after which the quoting module is paid for once. There is no subscription at all.
- What happens to my data. An explanation of what working without an account and without a cloud means in practice, plus the full set of legal documents: privacy policy, terms and the data deletion procedure.
