How this is calculated
Enter the ratio with colons, commas or spaces between the parts and the total to divide. Each part is the total multiplied by its share of the sum of the parts, so 2:3:5 of 1000 is 200, 300 and 500.
The ratio is also reduced by its greatest common divisor, so 4:6:10 is shown as 2:3:5. Decimal parts are allowed; they are scaled before the reduction.
